The new single shows promise (4 stars)
Hopefully the new single shows the direction of the upcoming album. While I certainly enjoyed The Diving Board and especially The Union it's time for Elton to pick it up a bit.

I agree with the other reviewers. The new song shows promise, and I'm hoping for a more upbeat, rockier (dare I say poppier) sound closer to his 70s and 80s heyday. Just cause you're older doesn't mean you have to sound it!
