It's hard to put into words (5 stars)
It's hard to tell someone that a duo can make such incredible music that brings so much energy and fun into ones life. It's just something that has to be experienced

This album is so freaking great. The lyrics are a bit darker, but the sound of the songs are still just as fun. The darker lyrics coupled with the fun upbeat sound works perfectly and I can't stop listening! The beats on this whole album are insane, but especially on "I said"- that one has to be listened to all the way up. And you also have to air drum along (I think it's required, not sure though).

I always love getting lost in these songs while I tune out the rest of the world. It's rare for me to love every song on an album, but I really do love every song and can listen to them over and over again!

Keyboardist Matt Johnson and drummer Kim Schifino are the driving force behind the musical perpetual energy machine that is Matt and Kim. The two came together in 2004 while attending the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, and sessions for their debut album began two years later after a spring tour with Meneguar.
