Will break your heart. (5 stars)
When listening to Picking Up The Pieces, you can hear Jewel's heartbreak pour right into your ears. I haven't heard an album with this much raw emotion since Fiona Apple's Idler Wheel. This is truly a work of art, and Jewel has certainly returned to her Pieces Of You roots...this is the perfect bookend to an incredible debut album released over 20 years ago.

Jewel has one voice inside and out that truly inspires and evokes every emotion. Her roots truly shine in this long awaited much needed record and will become a classic for years to come. I hope she continues to make records for years to come, because there is truly only one Jewel.
