Just Kids - Just Okay (3 stars)
I've bought a lot of Mat Kearney music, but this CD is generally a disappointment. With the exception of two songs, every track has a chorus that has "oh oh oh" to try to create a hook, I guess. It is boring and monotonous. The two tracks that don't do it, unfortunately, aren't very good either. I will still give it 3 stars because I liked the song "Billion" for about a week. I Agree (3 stars)
Sorry but i have to agree with C Anderson. Every song has Woh oh ohhhhss. Although it does work for some artists like Switchfoot, and it goes unnoticed, here it sounds like it was used as a crutch, which typically it is. Maybe don't perform and use the same effects on the Wohhs on every song too. Just my opinon. I do enjoy Mat's music though but this was kind of a disappointment.
