RIP Dre and his classic G-Funk Sounds (2 stars)
For someone who grew up with NWA in California and waited a long 16 years for Detox to never happen, this album is not what I wanted or expected. This is not Dre’s sound but instead him staying relevant which I totally get but I truly hope this is not his last effort. For anyone hoping to hear classic Chronic beats, just be warned this is definitely NOT that sadly.

I think most of the critics here over time have gotten used to the low and cheap quality music that they can't even recognized quality when they hear it.
