Well Done (MIKA and Apple) (5 stars)
Anyone who has experienced a live MIKA performance knows that it is difficult to return to his album immediately thereafter. I had to give myself time to forget about his energy and how incredible he sounded in person before I could settle back down to Life in Cartoon Motion from my computer speakers. I knew that MIKA would be singing in this concert i was not aware that itunes would have it!MIKA proves that he can sing as strong live as in a studio.Some of his songs like Relax,Take it easy i was nervous about because that song has a lot of electronic sound effects but MIKA sings IMO even better live!Not to mention to put the icing on the cake MIKA does a cover of Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) by the 80s band Eurythmics and adds in a st

This is a fine live release. At first I dismissed Mika as another fly by night artist. I purchased Grace Kelly for my wife, who loved the song. It grew on me slowly so I bought the album Life In Cartoon Motion and have been listening to it for quite some time now. When I saw that iTunes had this available, I gave it a listen and promptly clicked buy album. This is a fantastic collection of songs. They translate well to the live stage.
