Just beautiful... (5 stars)
I remember, as a young child, sitting and staring intently at the album cover of Teaser and the Firecat. This may very well be the very first musical experience I ever had. In those days, Cat's music was a staple on the FM staions, and I still have memories of riding in the backseat of the car while Morning has Broken or Peace Train filled the air with such sublime and infectious melodies. The girls in my high school loved Cat Stevens songs - His biggest fan was an artist named Marlene. She drew beautiful pencil sketches of his photos.

Where have you gone? (5 stars)
one of the great creations of my generation, Teaser And The Firecat is a all time great album a total classic, But Cat has become a little strange, never the less 5 stars i miss the old cat classics.

Cat Stevens, born Steven Demetre Georgiou, was the son of a Swedish mother and a Greek father who ran a restaurant in London. He became interested in folk music and rock & roll in his teens while attending Hammersmith College and in 1965 began performing under the name Steve Adams. Mike Hurst, a former member of the folk-pop group the Springfields, who had become a record producer, heard him and took him into a recording studio to cut his composition "I Love My Dog."
