Pretty Hate Machine...Nine INch Nails (4 stars)
I listened to this album like it was a religion when it first came out. I tore through three copies of the casette tape....that was all that was affordable back then. I still like this album because it has lyrics that are so transparent and so raw and so relatable...even if it is the 20 something year old me that is reminiscing. I still give it a thumbs up, for memories at the very very least....

I listened to this tape and then CD over and over again in the 90's as a teen. The songs/lyrics are great. I still love this album.

I bought the original version at my local cd store (i wanted to hear the original before the remastered) and even after hearing the remastered, i prefer the original. I dont know why, but i like the darker sounds of the older verssion.

Head Like A Hole - 9/10 The big single off this album is definetly none short of Amazing, but i wouldnt call it perfect. The live version is WAY BETTER.
