Awesome. (5 stars)
Everytime I see Mark Trombino's name on any album I feel a wave of nostalgia, as if this could be as good as Clarity was. For once I'm not in any way disappointed. Disintegration is definately the highlight on the EP and makes the entire thing worth an own. It has such a unique sound that made their early work so genre bending. Regardless this is an EP like indie bands used to make.

Really satisfying EP (4 stars)
If you're a fan of Futures, or any of Jimmy Eat World in general, you'll dig this EP. The first song, Disintegration, is an excellent display of a hard hitting JEW song, out of the same vein of Night Drive. Over & Closer are very similar to Kill & The World You Love, meaning they are very good. Then comes Half Right, a Heatmiser (Elliott Smith) cover. My favorite song on this disc, and I'm really happy JEW decided to cover it. The

it's very interesting to see how bands pushed into the mainstream fight back. whether intentionally or not, jimmy eat world has successfully acknowledged their roots in emo by "staying away" from overly slick production. i, for one, kind of miss hearing little things like in-tune vocals and well thought out song arrangments (i'm a slave to the 3 and a half minute song). but it is absolutely a breath of fresh air to hear such a c
