With all due respect to late great Otis Redding (5 stars)
What good fun it was to see Jon Cryer as "Duckie" Dale let loose with his superb, lip-sync improvisation of Otis's "Try a Little Tenderness" in his vain attempt to impress Miss Pretty In Pink herself, Molly Ringwald! Cool movie with an equally cool soundtrack, 1986.

Truly a great (5 stars)
This man was taken before his time. A King of Soul for sure. This album is a must have. $3.99 for all five songs is an absolute steal.

He was also the most consistent exponent of the Stax sound, cutting his records at the Memphis label/studios that did much to update R&B into modern soul.
