Adam Young is back with his highly anticipated release "Ocean Eyes." With the release of what I consider one of Young's best song of all time: "Hot Air Balloon", the anticipation increased. I cared less for "Strawberry Avalanche" but was still excited about what was to come. We haven't been disappointed. Young's lyrics will satisfy the daydreams of fairy tale lovers everywhere as he channels his "inner-Eisl

Adam's lyrics reach into your soul, hand it a jump rope and feed it candy. All you can do is feel happy when you listen to his music. <3

I usually don't give negative reviews, but aside from having good pop intuition, this just isn't good. How many people are going to give this 5 stars? Really? Owl City apes Ben Gibbard vocally with much less sentiment. The lyrics are juvenile and it seems overall hugely lame. This is like eating candy for breakfast. Try some Postal Service instead.

Owl City is the musical brainchild of Adam Young, who launched the project in 2007 while living at his parents' home in Owatonna, Minnesota. Troubled by insomnia, Young began spending his evenings in the household basement, where a computer and several instruments provided a diversion from his sleeping patterns.
