Signs Of Life (4 stars)
By 1985, the future of Pink Floyd came into question when Roger Waters quit the band, and subsequently began what can only be described as a legal blitzkrieg to make sure that it was he, and not Gilmour, that was seen as THE member of Pink Floyd. Underrated at the time but now... (4 stars)
...it's apparent that this album had more magical moments than "The Final Cut". "Learning To Fly", "On The Turning Away", "One Slip" and "Sorrow" are great songs, and Gilmour's solo on "Yet Another Movie" is one of his best. The reunifictation of Gilmour/Mason/Wright would be solidified on the classic "Division Bell", but "Momentary Lapse" is not without it's cha

if songs like given to fly and on the turning away don't inspire you or give you goosebumps then i just don't know what is wrong with you . gilmour is such a tasteful and detailed guitar player . great record and one of the few in the wasteland that was the 80's .
