This is one of my favorite albums of theirs, all the songs on it are great, especially Hanginaround, Mrs. Potters Lullaby and Amy Hit the Atmosphere. Really great album worth the money.

Track by Track: This Desert Life (5 stars)
Okay, I'll say it: THIS IS THEIR BEST ALBUM! It blends soft rock with campfire country. 1: 10/10 A great way to start the album with a twist, catchy guitars, and an insane solo halfway through. 2: 11/10 This is my favorite Counting Crows song. The mellow but loud guitars blend with Adam's deep voice. 3: 7/10 Incredibly sad. Neat effects though. Either about a rocket ship crashing or someone dying. 4: 9/10 A happier song.Includes 12-string gu

This Desert Life is a great album. Counting Crows is so consistent in that they make every track on every album pleasent to listen to. And it is impossible to not like the lead singer's voice.
