AWWEEESSOOMMEEE!!! (5 stars)
Her hooks are catchy as hell. Her lyrics are thoughtful, not simply about getting stoned and picking up hookers. And, theres just something that makes u feel superior when u say ur listening to Sri Lankan rap. Everything about it is great. I'd recommend a certain song, but they're all awesome, and they all have their own sound. Its amazing what u can do with a synthesizer.

I've been in love with M.I.A. since I first downloaded the 'Galang' single on iTunes. These songs are not all that different than the ones on 'Arular' aside from the live vocals and the occasional shout out to iTunes (which had me scratchin' my head at first). If you're an M.I.A. junky, get this. Also seek out her 'mixtape' with Diplo called 'Piracy Funds Terrorism Volume 1'. Yummy, that's all I gotta' say. Politically active with excel

She exudes confidence and speaks as urban and futuristic if she is talking about muslims and bombs and when she raps about sex. Same tone, different words. Her beats have nerve been heard in this world before and she is so amazing and courageous in her music that she makes you wanna be there when she records. She just is unspeakably hot.
