Elvis Presley (Remastered) – Elvis PresleyView More By Elvis Presley Our ReviewOne of the most auspicious debuts in popular music history, this is the ultimate Presley album hands down. Just look at the iconic black and white photo of Elvis in live performance that graces the cover. It feels like he is literally screaming at you to play it. And when you do, it's as timeless today as when it was first released nearly fifty years ago. Consisting of his initial forays into RCA's recording studio, as well as some left over tracks recorded at Sun, there is not a bum track on the entire album. Kicking off in high gear with Presley's version of "Blue Suede Shoes" this album doesn't let up. They were all covers of personal favorites of his, with songs ranging from artists like Little Richard ("Tutti Frutti") to artists like Carl Perkins ("Blue S THIS IS THE AWESOMEST ALBUM EVER! (5 stars) I love how it's so original, and yet it sounds good. It's classic Elvis. BiographyBorn: January 08, 1935 in Tupelo, MSGenre: Rock Years Active: '50s, '60s, '70s Elvis Presley may be the single most important figure in American 20th century popular music. Not necessarily the best, and certainly not the most consistent. But no one could argue with the fact that he was the musician most responsible for popularizing rock & roll on an international level. Viewed in cold sales figures, his impact was phenomenal. Dozens upon dozens of international smashes from the mid-'50s to the mid-'70s,...
