If it ain't broke, don't fix it! (2 stars)
Sorry, but for as much as I love my Lifehouse, this does not do Broken any justice. The original is so emotional, *this* is something that sounds like it's played at a grade school dance.

Listen, I am a HUGE fan of this group! I've purchased everything I can get my hands on from them. But I have to say, I am more of a fan of the album version than this radio version. Led by singer/songwriter Jason Wade, Lifehouse emerged in the early 2000s with a commercial blend of pop/rock melody and throaty, post-grunge vocals. Wade, who originally tagged the band Blyss upon its inception in 1996, was raised by missionary parents in a variety of locales. He eventually settled in Los Angeles with his mother and took a keen interest in songwriting.
