Foo Fighters are Awesome! (5 stars)
I'm surprised to be the first review in 13 years. Dave Grohl is a musical genius. This is possibly the best album by them minus best hits.

Truly great (5 stars)
I am amazed at the musical diversity the foo fighters have. From soft to hard rock. From poppy rock to screamo that is tolerable to someone who likes even softer rock. The best songs in this monster if an album are everlong the color and the shape and February stars. The foo fighters shall remain one of my favorite bands for a long time

Great album- Extra tracks just a bonus (5 stars)
The Foo Fighters' second album, their first as a "real band" (the first was just a Grohl solo project, essentially) has stood the test of time remarkably well. It has the all-too-rare combination of hard rock and melody. From the outstanding "Monkey Wrench" to the dramatic closer "New Way Home," the cd works as individual songs and as an album as a whole.
