Elton Fans would Like The Whole Show. (2 stars)
Saw this show 2 nights before in Hartford CT. (His warm up to Madison Square Garden Show) the show lasted almost 3 hrs. playing tunes like Sixty Years On, Mona Lisa And Mad Hatters, High Flying Bird, BluesFor Baby And Me, just to name a few (AWESOME SHOW) and this is what they decided to put on a disc for a special event like this. Not Whole Show??! (1 star)
DVD release contains the entire show! This is not the whole thing so, buyer beware. Set list from DVD is amazing and runs over 3 hours -- would have been very popular move for EJ to sell whole show as CD as well for those of us who do not believe the hype in buying music DVD's (who sits and watches those?). Well, folks, read the 2-star review closely. That person was at the concert and his only gripe is that he wanted MORE of the concert on the release. I have to agree. As a fan, I was more excited about the rare tracks played live that ARE part of the bonus disc being offered with the DVD package just released.
