The Brit versions of the albums didn't contain some of the best-loved (by me) songs, like the wonderful three-part harmonied "This Boy", the jovial and infectious "The Ballad of John and Yoko" (recorded by John and Paul at a time when they supposedly were estranged -- that's Paul on the drums), and the incandescent Paul vocal on "Long Tall Sally", still to me the most exuberant, purely joyful recording they ever
