Celebration is a befitting retrospective for the shapeshifting international icon: a double-length, 36-song greatest-hits collection. Every era, every reinvention, every musical nuance is captured here, from the '80s gleam of "Burning Up" and "Like a Virgin" to the ghetto-fab swagger of "Music" and the embrace of dance music culture ushered in by "Ray of Light." Among the extra goodies collected here are the Benny Benassi–produced title track and a Madonna/Lil Wayne collaboration (“Revolver”).

A Collection That Should Be Celebrated (4 stars)
This album was basically released as a way for Madonna to wrap up her contract with Warner Bros. Records, and while it's not the greatest collection of hits, it's sufficient and probably the best we'll get for a while. This week (the week of September 29, 2009 - the album's release date) I would advise going to a store and buying a physical copy of the album, this exact version is available for as much as $4 lower than what it is on iTunes.<

Fantastic package but one big detail... (5 stars)
The 2 disc set it's just fantastic, very pleasing and well done, the re-mastering of the tracks makes them sound incredible, but nobody seems to recognize that Music is just messed up, it's got this weird skips and stuff that makes the track unpleasant.

I downloaded the song from iTunes and got that weird sound, so I bought the physical copy of the 2 disc set and Music also sounded messed up there, I feel very unsatisfied as a cust
